50 years of SOEC: a birthday party that becomes an opportunity for communication

I have always enjoyed helping to make the birthdays of my loved ones special, surprising them and sharing memorable moments together. When the “birthday boy” is a company or a brand, pleasure is combined with commitment and multiplied through the creative power of teamwork, and it immediately becomes clear to me why I love my job!

My team and I had the opportunity to dive into the effervescent world of international sparkling wines to celebrate 50 years of SOEC, the only brand in the world dedicated entirely to the research and development of products for the production of sparkling wines. SOEC has a long-standing presence in the French market and is growing in Italy and in all countries around the world that produce sparkling wines.

The client’s goal was to celebrate, but at the same time to increase brand awareness in the Italian market, leveraging two key messages: 50 years of consolidated expertise and a leading position in supporting the qualitative growth of sparkling wines worldwide.
The format we created brought together, in one evening, content developed in collaboration with a team of journalists and industry experts with a moment of conviviality and celebration. The enchanting Villa Foscarini Cornaro in the heart of Prosecco country was chosen as the setting for its consistency with SOEC’s values of history and innovation. Around 200 participants responded to SOEC’s invitation, including producers, oenologists, and industry specialists.

The evening was opened by four exceptional speakers, who hosted an exciting and informative talk show entitled: “CONSUMERS AND BUBBLES. A journey through the reasons for the success of sparkling wines around the world and future prospects.”
The evening continued with a buffet dinner in the spacious halls of the Villa’s granary, where the setting was designed to encourage interaction between participants, who were able to continue discussing the topics covered in the seminar, accompanied by live jazz music.
The dinner menu was designed to be accompanied exclusively by sparkling wines, which guests were able to choose from the international sparkling wine tasting counter, introduced by a presentation of Champagne Cave de Mailly Grand Cru by Sébastien Moncuit, Chef de Cave.
The symbolic cutting of the cake celebrating SOEC’s 50th anniversary was preceded by a choreographed dance inspired by the effervescence of sparkling wine, performed by three elegant dancers who brought the event to a close with an artistic touch.

It was a memorable evening in every respect, in terms of the organization, the topics covered, the pace, and the overall setting. Everyone worked hard to make this event a celebration of the SOEC brand and, tomorrow, a commercial success. We had a wonderful time.

Arnaud Soulier, Wine Business Coordinator and International Marketing Director – Sofralab Group, said with satisfaction.
